In May 1999 an inaugural public meeting was held during which members of the community who were interested in having a say in the future of the SAC formed their own separate Interest Group(s) and requested the formation of a Liaison Forum.

Interest Groups have fluctuated as issues have come and gone. Some still meet, whilst others have formed different collectives or disbanded. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum provides an excellent platform for individuals or interest groups to network and share information on a wide range of coastal issues in Pembrokeshire.

The best way for individuals to become actively involved in the management of the SAC is to contact the SAC Officer who will advise on the best approach. Individuals are always welcome to provide information and/or make their views known either at SAC meetings, via a relevant authority or directly to the SAC Officer.
